It was a little nippy this morning, especially going into the wind on the way out. Though the conditions were far from ideal, four of the eight of us who also rode the 2008-Jul-27 40km out here improved upon our previous 2008 Fournier best and ten of the 17 of whom we have 40km times in our database improved upon their previous database best. Note that two of today's riders managed to place at the top of their categories in the Ontario Provincial Time Trial Championships last weekend - Congratulations to Erich Zappe (1st in Masters 3 men) and Gary Romkey (1st in Masters D men) and to some others who have competed in our time trials - Michael Nash (1st in the Elite men), Jennifer Stephenson (2nd in the Elite women), Florence Laplante-Lamarche (2nd in Women under 17), Alex Cataford (2nd in men under 17), Bryson Bowers (2nd in men under 23), Aaron Fillion (3rd in the Elite men), Colin Morewood (4th in men under 17), Keir Place (4th in men under 23), and Glen Rendall (7th in Elite men).
